My Biography
My goal is to represent all of our clients with the highest professional and ethical standards.
A Little About Me
I grew up in the mountains of southwest Virginia, in Roanoke. My collegiate years were spent at Longwood College, in Farmville, and then at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My area of interest and specialty in Nursing evolved to Critical Care.
I met my husband, Don, while we were students at Virginia. After serving several years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy, Don accepted a position with Bath Iron Works, and we headed north to Maine in 1983. Don and I own RE/MAX Riverside, and Don is the commercial broker with our company.
We have 2 beautiful children, Jeff and Kristen. Jeff is a land use attorney in Philadelphia. Kristen and her husband, David, own a national level training facility in NH, where they train American Saddlebred show horses and riders.
I work in my real estate practice as part of a team. We picked up the name "Team Spann" several years ago during a time when Jeff was working with me, prior to his law school years. When he left to attend law school, a dear friend joined me as part of "Team Spann." I work closely with this wonderful lady, Lula Hansen, in representing all of our clients. We feel that our combined energies provide a benefit for all of our clients and transactions. We share an appreciation for the beauty of Maine and cherish the communities we serve.
